Today we are living in days in which good is considered evil and evil is considered good. In the midst of the world’s confusion, we as Christians are still called to live a life of holiness. This calling requires a constant examination of our hearts. Lamentations 3:40 says: Let us examine and probe our ways, and let us return to the LORD. The lawlessness that surrounds us is leaving many with unchecked sin. David wrote in Psalm 139: 23-24: Search me, O God, and know my heart; try me, and know my anxieties; and see if there is any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.
