We live in a day and age where we are bombarded with opportunities to satisfy the lust of the flesh. In fact, the world has convinced many that living without satisfying our lusts is not living at all. 1 John 2:16 tells us for everything in the world “the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life…comes not from the Father but the World.”

God’s word gives us clarity on the lust of the flesh and its consuming power. The power of lust can be overcome through the power of Jesus.
